      I created this piece at the 1st Annual St Charles Plein Air Painting Competition in the Fall of 2008. As an artist, I am so used to the extremely private & solo experience of painting. On this particular day of the competition, I joined with artists Ken Farris & Jessica Dreyer along the Missouri River in Frontier Park. The plein air experience of creating in tandem with other artists was refreshing and rejuvenating for the spirit. After all these years, it still fascinates me how different & unique each individual artists interpretation of a scene can be."
