"Her Bed, Wet with Tears" by Catherine Mahoney

This painting was created in response to Kathy Meyer's text in her character-building story, 'Daisy & Digger'. Kathy asked me to illustrate her vision of the reaction in Daisy to Digger's jealousy and selfish theft of her new toy rope-bone given to her by her best HUMAN friend, a little boy named Tommy. She is so saddened by this turn of events, that she's cried herself to sleep! Her underlying feelings touch a similar note in our own lives as each of us has had similar nights ourselves.
