Their second children's book together, What Makes Ossie Special, is a touching story about an Ostrich who finally learns why she is special and different from all the other birds she knows. This is a wonderful story to teach children that we are all different, but also have special qualities that set us apart. The illustrations were created by Catherine from a series of watercolor paintings. The book is brimming with full page watercolor paintings. The story is inspired by one of many stories the author told her children when they were young.
