Artist Comments: "This piece, 'Erosion', developed over the course of about a month. As with many of my pieces, I start the creative process with form & feeling. I had decided I wanted to create a heavily textured piece, and as I layered the paint and felt the paint mixtures in my hands, I became acutely aware of how fragile our world is. I thought of how little control but yet how much control we have over the design of our planet. Left alone, our planet will evolve & erode, & reform until the end of days. Yet with each single touch we erode & reshape our planet. For me, it was a fascinating subject to dwell & create on."
