Artist's Comments:
  "As a child I would spend hours and hours drawing. When I was small I drew with a pencil and still enjoy doing so. As I grew older I found I loved working with charcoal. I am intrigued by the challenge of drawing from a live model. My desire, when doing so, is to try to capture the essence of the individual. This particular model was very gentle and very feminine. I am pleased with the way this drawing turned out."
