Art World Association Logo     The Art World Association was founded in 1963 by dedicated artists for the purpose of promoting, encouraging, and foster the arts in the St. Louis Community. As a non-profit organization, the AWA is open to artists and others interested in the arts who are eighteen years of age or older.

     AWA's mission is to create an environment that promotes the members to continue to grow and mature in their art endeavors.The AWA is an opportunity for its members to participate in local as well as out of town shows. Monthly meetings promote competition between members for the “Artist of theYear” award. 

     Programs feature local well known artists who give wonderful demonstrations in a wide variety of mediums such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, basket weaving, collage, fibre, glass ornament, and much more. Learn more about the AWA on their website.
