Serena Boschert is a St. Charles, Missouri artist specializing in hand-painted ceramic, ornaments and decorative art pieces.  Her work encompasses a multitude of surfaces, media, and styles, each as creative as the last. Her need to create stems from a variety of reasons. ...to express a feeling, a thought, to experiment perhaps in a new media, to show her feelings, to fulfill a statement or belief. Her sketchbook, travels, and personal photographs are inspirations for her work. In the past few years, Serena has added paintings, collages, and notecards to her gallery and art exhibit selections. Part of Serena's exhibit will include a display of hundreds of hand painted ornaments for the holidays.

     With her past work experience and her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, Serena has devoted herself to her art full-time since 1981. She has won numerous awards; taught classes and workshops and given talks on “the business of art”.  Serena is a member of several local art associations, the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, and is a charter, juried art member of Best of Missouri Hands. Her art is in private and public collections throughout the U.S. and in twelve other countries.
