The Photography of Colin Wright
Exhibition Dates: July 11- August 5, 2007
Photographer Colin Wright      Colin Wright has been behind a  camera for as long as he can remember.  As a child in the 1970s, he shot with both 110 and 126 film cameras. In junior high school, his father taught him how to shoot with an Edixa 35mm film camera. Colin began shooting with Canon gear when his Dad gave him a Canon T50 in 1986. He's been using Canon gear ever since, and currently uses both a Canon 10D and 20D for his photography.

Born in Florida, but raised in southeast Tennessee, Colin Wright has lived in both Omaha and St. Louis for many years each. He's been happily married for many years to his wife Becky, and has a daughter, Siobhan, who is his biggest fan.  Colin is also a military veteran, and proudly served in the US Air Force during the last half of the 1980's.

Colin Wright is dedicated to producing the best creative photography he can.  He strive's to "find the hand of God in images of His astounding creations". His focus is on photography practiced in the great outdoors. Photographic interests include aircraft, macro photography and elements of color, contrast, symmetry and reflection.
