Flowers, Fur, and Feathers - Watercolors by Marty Spears
Exhibition Dates: February 26 - March 31, 2016
     Artist Marty Spears began learning watercolor techniques while living in Germany in the early 1980’s with her husband who was in the U.S. Army at the time.  She studied oil, watercolor, and pen & ink at the Herzfeld School of Art in Weisbaden, Germany, but fell in love with watercolor.  In addition to creating her own works, Marty accepts commissions and also does pet portraits.  She teaches watercolor classes in her home studio. 
 
     Marty is the past President of the Gateway East Artists Guild, and a member of the Jacoby Arts Center, Edwardsville Arts Center, Missouri Watercolor Society, St. Louis Watercolor Society, Fine Art America online gallery, and past member of Central Florida Watercolor Society.  See more work by Marty on her website at  www.martyspears.com.
