"Abstract art is created from imagination, making something where there was nothing. It's Non-representational compositionsof shapes, lines, colors, and textures. There is no limit to the possibilities. Abstraction can be spontaneous like Jackson Pollock, sublime like Mark Rothko, or calculated and precise like Ellsworthy Kelly. Steve studied art at Florissant Valley Community College for two years and the Herron School of Art at Indiana University in Indianapolis for one year. He worked professionally as a graphic designer/Illustrator in the St Louis area for over 35 years. He has been making drawings, paintings, scratchboards, and mixed media art for over 50 years.
